THE UK’S LARGEST MANUFACTURER AND DISTRIBUTOR OF HYGIENE TUBES AND HYGIENIC FITTINGS
When you purchase your hygiene tubes and hygienic fittings from DPL you can expect:
Exceptional standards
Our hygienic austenitic tubes and hygienic fittings meet the exacting standards and conform to ISO 9001-2015 manufacturing and quality standards. Plus, all contact parts are manufactured from T316L quality materials. Sulphur is controlled at weld points to a 0.005% minimum and a 0.017% maximum to ensure high quality orbital welds.
Comprehensive traceability
As part of our Quality Control, we check that all raw materials purchased conform to the Chemical Analysis stated on the Material Certificate — this is carried out by an independent laboratory. All materials are also traceable back to the original Material Certificates. To ensure full traceability of all materials to the original Material Certificate.
A wide variety of product options
Our extensive product range covers austenitic tubing sizes from 1/4” O.D. to 6” O.D. in tubing, weld end fittings suitable for orbital welding and clamp ended fittings. What’s more the tolerances on our weld ended products are suitable for closed head orbital welding, with tolerances on squareness and wall thickness.
Whichever product you choose, you can look forward to a choice of finish — mechanical or electropolished on the internal diameter, and mill finished or satin polished on the outer diameter.
Professional packaging and certification
With your products carefully finished, they will be professionally packed — austenitic tubing is supplied with ends capped, sleeved in polythene and end heat sealed, while hygienic fittings are capped and heat sealed in polythene.
Your products will arrive accompanied by full material certificates, either with the goods or via email, or both if required. Where needed, we will provide a full quality dossier to cover project work.
Maximising your workflow productivity
Owing to the exceptional quality of our hygienic tubes and fittings, our tailored options, as well as bespoke solutions and ongoing support, you can look forward to improved workflow productivity. If something isn’t quite right with your product, our experienced team is here to help resolve the problem.
- ILC union – specially developed by DPL in response to customer requirements, this union can be employed in a variety of applications and is appropriate for high pressure usage as it combines the key properties of quick connection and hygiene in a unique coupling. Crevice free, with a metal-to-metal seat for controlled compression, the ILC is CIP compatible with high working pressures and is available in sizes ½ inch to 4 inch.
- RJT union – the robust RJT union is the most common and widely used fitting in UK food and beverage processing and brewing installations which require frequent dismantling for sterilization and washing. Available in sizes from 1 inch to 4 inch, the RJT range has a working pressure of 10 bar. It is not suitable for CIP.
- Clamp union – this CIP compatible union is designed to give a fully hygienic, crevice free join and offers quick and easy assembly and disconnection without the use of specialist tools. Available in sizes from ½ inch to 12 inch, the Clamp union has a working pressure of 10 bar.
- IDF union – While it too provides a crevice free, fully hygienic environment, the IDF union can be used in conjunction with a round nut to restrict unauthorised dismantling and provide added security benefits. The IDF union is particularly suitable for CIP where pipelines remain permanently in position. Available in sizes 1 inch to 4 inch, the IDF range has a working pressure of 16 bar when a reinforced seal is used and 10 bar with the standard seal.
