To facilitate installation of Diamond valves, Dairy Pipe Lines (DPL) provides a comprehensive range of hygienic stainless steel tube and fittings for every processing application.

Where product pipelines have to be dismantled frequently for cleaning, a crevice free union provides the optimum hygienic solution. In such applications, swift and easy disconnection and reassembly is important, since it will not only help to reduce the time and effort involved in the cleaning or sterilisation process, but also cut costs.

Our range of unions comprises the ILC, Clamp, RJT and IDF. Constructed from 316 and/or 316L stainless steel, they are available with a range of seal materials, including Nitrile, Silicone, EPDM, Viton and PTFE, to ensure compatibility with customer process system applications.

• ILC union - specially developed by DPL in response to customer requirements, this union can be employed in a variety of applications and is appropriate for high pressure usage as it combines the key properties of quick connection and hygiene in a unique coupling. Crevice free, with a metal-to-metal seat for controlled compression, the ILC is CIP compatible with high working pressures and is available in sizes ½ inch to 4 inch.
• RJT union - the robust RJT union is the most common and widely used fitting in UK food and beverage processing and brewing installations which require frequent dismantling for sterilisation and washing. Available in sizes from 1 inch to 4 inch, the RJT range has a working pressure of 10 bar. It is not suitable for CIP.
• Clamp union - this CIP compatible union is designed to give a fully hygienic, crevice free join and offers quick and easy assembly and disconnection without the use of specialist tools. Available in sizes from ½ inch to 12 inch, the Clamp union has a working pressure of 10 bar.
• IDF union - While it too provides a crevice free, fully hygienic environment, the IDF union can be used in conjunction with a round nut to restrict unauthorised dismantling and provide added security benefits. The IDF union is particularly suitable for CIP where pipelines remain permanently in position. Available in sizes 1 inch to 4 inch, the IDF range has a working pressure of 16 bar when a reinforced seal is used and 10 bar with the standard seal.

To complement this extensive range of fittings, we supply AISI 316/304 stainless steel tube in sizes from ½ inch to 4 inch (exterior dimensions). Stocked in 6m random lengths, the tube comes with polished or bright annealed finishes.

Plain bends and tees conform to ISO standards and BS 4825 PT 3 for orbital or hand welding on site, while crosses and 'Y' pieces can be manufactured to customer specifications and drawings and supplied with or without fittings.

Stainless steel filters - including side entry, in-line, 'Y' type and pump protection systems, along with a duplex assembly set up for use with our plug and butterfly valves - help to ensure product in the pipeline remains free from foreign bodies and oversize solids.
